LITTLEWINE is your online destination for getting personal with the people behind the bottle, exploring wine regions and learning about wine. We are also a bottle shop and deliver the wines that you see, hear and read about straight to your doorstep. You can find out more about us here.
LITTLEWINE was co-founded by Daniela Pillhofer, a wine merchant, and Christina Rasmussen, a wine writer. Together, the two imagined a place where you could learn about wine, while virtually meeting the people whose wines you enjoy or are curious about. That place became reality in LITTLEWINE.
We direct and produce our films in-house by bringing years of experience in content creation to the table and teaming up with the most talented creative professionals to share the story behind the bottle.
At LITTLEWINE, we believe that the stories of winemakers should be about them, not us. As such, we do not show an author for our in-house written articles.
We are very proud to work with talented freelance writers and professionals from time to time, and want to highlight their talent. As such, you will occasionally see names that are not ours pop-up, and you can learn about these writers in their bio sections.
We taste hundreds of wine per month, and have the fortune of meeting many winemakers face-to-face. When we feel inspired by a winemaker's philosophies, we get a fire in our bellies to share their story. Then, if we're able to, we list their wines in our bottle shop so that you can experience their wines firsthand. That's what we're here for.

The short answer to this question is yes. We strongly feel that the way forward for the wine industry is to farm organically, biodynamically, or adhering to other natural farming methods such as regenerative agriculture. At the same time, we know that chaotic weather patterns can wreak havoc, and we trust that the winemakers we feature will always make the correct choice. We also understand that a farmer might have undertaken the road to organic conversion, and if that's the case - well, we want to support them. We're not here to be dogmatic, but inclusive.
We don't believe in scoring, and long prescriptive tasting notes send us to sleep. Instead, we want to tell you how wine makes us feel, while still educating you on all the complex ins and outs of wine. In our bottle shop, we're incredibly proud to offer you some rare cuvees, usually reserved for restaurants, that have never before been listed online.

After you have paid for your Backstage Pass, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail.

Yes, you can cancel your Backstage Pass subscription at any time. When you cancel, we will stop charging your account the following billing cycle and your Backstage Pass will continue for the remainder of any active period.
LITTLEWINE is a dynamic platform. As we publish new articles, profiles and interviews, we also list the wines of those that appear. As such, this "online wine list" is ever evolving and changing. Of course, if there's a wine you're desperate to re-order, get in touch with us and we'll see what we can do!
Yes. Straight after you have placed an order with us, you will receive an order confirmation. Should you struggle to locate your order confirmation, don't hesitate reaching out here and we can resend it.
Yes, our parcels are fully trackable as soon as they leave our warehouse. We will send the tracking details via email and you can also track the status of your order on your account profile at any time. If in doubt, we are available for any questions and updates on firstname.lastname@example.org
While we always aim to process orders as quickly as possible, and in most cases wines will ship the following day via an Express24 service, please allow up to 2 working days from time of order for delivery.
Orders placed MON-THU will be dispatched the following day.
Orders placed FRI-SUN will be processed on Monday, for delivery on Tuesday.
Our logistics partners can leave your order with a neighbour or drop it in a secure location. Please specify this location or person in the notes field before placing an order.
Unfortunately, we do not yet offer collection at retail locations.
Our carbon footprint is very important to us. As such, we believe that once wine has been shipped to its initial destination, it shouldn't be shipped again. Bottles of wine are heavy, so this is not in the interest of the environment. With this mantra in mind, we unfortunately do not offer delivery to locations outside of the United Kingdom.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or the wrong wine has been delivered, please contact us here immediately and we will arrange for collection, exchange or reimbursement.
For online wine orders, we offer express checkout options, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. We also offer secure payments via credit and debit cards.
For our subscription, all payments are securely processed via Paypal or a credit card of your choice.
To see your previous orders, please log-in to your account. On your profile, you will be able to see, amend and track your orders.
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a reset link by entering your email address in the account log-in section. Alternatively, you can also reach out to us directly at email@example.com and we can assist you in issuing your password reset link.
The activation link arrives in an email with the subject "Account Activation Required" shortly after you have subscribed to the All-Access Pass. If you cannot locate this email, we advise the following:
1. Check your spam folder - it sometimes likes hiding there!
2. Check your emails for the subject "Account Activation Required".
3. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can resend the activation link and/or investigate the issue further.
