Everything Happens
for a Riesling — Wine Pack

A Trio That

gives you goosebumps. This is Riesling three ways from three of the best makers in the business. Rudolf Trossen's Silbermond is an ode to the steep hills of the Mosel Valley–think ripe peach with lightning bolt minerality. To counter, we selected a true Alsatian modern classic—Luca Rieffel's Vieilles Vignes is a lesson in purity and balance, like listening to one of Eric Clapton's greatest concerts. Finally, Flora, Michael Gindl's Riesling (with a touch of the aromatic Scheurebe variety) speaks of its lush vineyards, abundant with wildflowers. Imagine drinking a liquid version of Claude Monet's 'The Truth of Nature'.

The Wines

Silbermond 2018

by Rudolf Trossen — Germany, Mosel

A wine that is a blend of two of Rudolf and Rita's favourite Riesling plots. To them, the light touch of 10.5% brings out a beautiful citrus fruit profile backed by a great mineral spice. A charming bottle that is as versatile as Riesling gets.

Vieilles Vignes 2018

by Lucas Rieffel — France, Alsace

A wine that punches well above its weight; some portions of grand cru Riesling made it into this cuvée. It's a wine with mineral crunch and such purity that you'll marvel at how grapes can produce something so un-grapelike. After drinking this, you'll be reaching for more Riesling, thinking, why am I not drinking more of this!?

Flora 2019

by Michael Gindl — Austria, Weinviertel

A wine that tastes and feel like a wonderful walk through Michael's vineyards in early summer. Wild flowers are growing as high as the vines and the scent reminds you of a wonderful mix of yellow fruits, hay and herbs. Michael picks his favourite Riesling vineyard and adds a touch of the local Scheurebe to the blend. Aromatic yet profound – a wonderful wine to listen to Edvard Grieg's Morning Mood.
