The Dark Side of Rosé — Wine Pack
A Trio That
is much more than your 'summer rosé fix.' These are wines that are the antithesis to your average pale pink plonk. Instead, these are rosés with soul, pink wines with a little summin extra. First up is Gentle Folk's Rainbow Juice—an iconic natural wine that tastes like cranberries dipped in rock salt. We think the makers are like the David Shrigleys of the wine world—this is the redefinition of the modern classic. Our second pick is by the one and only Christian Tschida. The Himmel Auf Erden Rosé blends together five different Cabernet Franc batches. Think Quentin Tarantino, all hidden in the details, with a big chunk of attitude. Last but not least, the Spätburgunder Rosé by Florian and Sven from Enderle & Moll. Pinot Noir on the fringes light red territory, receiving the same love & attention as all of their red Pinot Noir cuvées. These are serious wines for serious drinkers.

by Gentle Folk — Australia, Adelaide Hills
A wine that is everything you want from a natural rosé plus more. As Gentle Folk say, “Is it rose, is it an orange wine? Who cares. Just pure delicious juice for summer drinking.” It’s like a Sex on the Beach cocktail, but even better because it’s wine. It’s a bottle that we wish we could have on tap in our kitchen –‘nuff said.
Himmel Auf Erden 2019
by Christian Tschida — Austria, Burgenland
A wine that has become a benchmark for natural rosé worldwide. It's colour is only one of many facets. More importantly, the wine comes from grapes from a special Cabernet Franc vineyard that is planted with old vines on the shores of Lake Neusiedlersee. Imagine if Daft Punk and Toto made a wine – this would be it!
by Enderle & Moll — Germany, Baden
A wine that is a wonderful introduction to the work of Sven and Floran of Enderle & Moll. Together, they have been working some of Germany's oldest Pinot Noir vineyards grown on limestone and sandstone soils. Think serious Pinot from old vines just with a little less concentration than its 'bigger siblings' – a little wine ;) with big character.
