Bourgueil Perrières 2015 — Cabernet Franc
A Wine That
is considered one of the Greats in the natural wine world, and for good reason. There is a depth and poise to this wine that makes it so distinct - an earthy, brooding undertone that will ask you more questions than it gives answers. It demonstrates with ease how Cabernet Franc can race neck-to-neck to the finish line as one of the world's greatest grape varieties. Make sure you decant it to uncover the most vibrant expression; this evolves and changes from minute to minute in the glass.

Where and How?
This is biodynamically farmed Cabernet Franc from one of the most renowned parcels of Bourgeuil, planted on clay-limestone.
Maceration took place in open wood vats, and the wine fermented naturally. The wine then aged for two years in 550L barrels, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Minimal sulphites.
When a bottle of Breton appears on the table in natural wine circles, everyone leans back and smiles. These are some of the most comforting and enjoyable wines out there. Their emblematic cuvée, La Dilettante, achieves many of the aspects we all dream about in a bottle of wine: namely drinkability (or scrap that, glugability) and fun.
