Chardonnay 'Champ d'Aubert' 2016
A Wine That
shows a soulful side to Chardonnay. Salty, almost earthy aromas with a touch of honeysuckle, there's also some tannin from the skin contact here, which makes it an awesome wine for food pairings. Organising a picnic or BBQ and no idea which wine will go with everything? This is your answer in a bottle.

Where and How?
This comes from 35-year-old+ Chardonnay vines planted on the marl soils of Trouillots, on a parcel known as ‘Aubert,’ undergoing organic conversion.
The grapes were destemmed, and then underwent skin contact for ten days in stainless steel, fermenting naturally. The wine then aged in demi-muids (500L barrels) for two years. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and without added sulfites.
