Chardonnay 'Les Molates' 2019
A Wine That
makes our mouth water just by looking at the bottle. We're huge fans of Chardonnay; if you're already a convert... well... when you know, you know. If you're not yet? This is the perfect bottle to dip your toes into Chardonnay waters with. No oaky flavours, just lemon goodness and croissant flakes. Savoury deliciousness.

Where and How?
This is a blend of various parcels of Chardonnay planted on the marl and limestone soils of Gevingey, in the Côtes-du-Jura.
The grapes were direct-pressed, and the juice fermented naturally and was aged in large old oak foudres. No bâtonnage took place, and the wine was bottled after ten months with just a tiny addition of sulfites.
The Winemaker: Les Marnes Blanches
Since the beginning they have worked organically, and have collected vineyards throughout the years to bring them to their 12 hectares today. Winemaking is hands-off, with low or no sulphites, and the wines are beautiful, pure expressions of their varied soil types and Jura varieties.
