Where and How?
This biodynamic Chardonnay comes from six different vineyards (Rosières,
Béranger, en Muzard, Corvées, Chevrettes and Corvées sous Curon). They are on limestone soils and 'lias' clay, facing south and west, and were planted between 1952 and 1976, with one parcel planted in 2002.
The grapes are hand harvested, pressed directly in a pneumatic press, and the juice ferments naturally. The wine then ages in 228L barrels (12% new) for 24 months; gaining in complexity. A very small amount of sulfites are used (below 20mg/L).
