Where and How?
This is Trousseau from 25-year-old vines planted on a south facing vineyard, on gravel soils, near the village Voiteur.
The Winemaker: Les Granges Paquenesses
She tends her vineyards of Savagnin, Chardonnay, Trousseau and Poulsard organically with biodynamic methods. Her wines are made as hands-off as possible, ageing in older oak barrels and being bottled unfined and unfiltered. She picks a little earlier than average, resulting in taut, mineral, focused wines. Her Savagnin is one of LITTLEWINE’s all-time favourite expressions of the variety: see for yourself!
