Savagnin 'Les Molates' 2018
A Wine That
explains what our love affair with Savagnin is all about. Sea mist, umami, pine nuts... it's impossible to nail down the flavours here. Savagnin is to LITTLEWINE what Donna Summer is to Disco. If you can't find us, we'll be singing I Feel Love to this cuvée.

Where and How?
Like the Les Molates Chardonnay cuvée, this comes from vines in Gevingey, Côtes-du-Jura, but this is Savagnin.
Whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented, this is then aged in old foudres for 11 months, with the ouillé method (meaning this is topped up regularly) resulting in a very fresh style.
The Winemaker: Les Marnes Blanches
Since the beginning they have worked organically, and have collected vineyards throughout the years to bring them to their 12 hectares today. Winemaking is hands-off, with low or no sulphites, and the wines are beautiful, pure expressions of their varied soil types and Jura varieties.
