Cortado 2018 — Carignan & Grenache Noir
A Wine That
is half red and half rosé — Alain and Tom enjoy simple reds that flirt with rosé, so a few years back they decided to blend their Carignan, Merlot, Grenache grapes with a little bit of Cabernet Franc juice. Et Voilà — an everyday masterpiece full of fruity goodness!

Where and How?
Domaine Majas is based in the commune of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes within the Côtes Catalanes on the foothills of the Pyrénées Orientales. The vineyards are planted on a variety of schist, volcanic and limestone soils.
Back in the early 1990s Alain and Agnès Carrère founded the Domaine Majas that today consists of 30 hectares. A decade later and with a lot of frustration at conventional farming, they met a young man named Tom Lubbe. He would support them to change their approach in farming and winemaking. Today the domaine is proud to be working organically with the intention to bottle true representations of the Côtes Catalanes with minimal intervention.
