A Wine That
punches well above its weight. So much so, we might think it's the best value wine we've ever come across (big words, we know). This epistomises why Syrah creates some of the most captivating wines in the world, and is made by one of the natural wine world's icons, Jean-Michel Stéphan. Black pepper, black olives, blackcurrants and a sprig of wild thyme... you'll fall head-over-heels for this, we guarantee it.

Where and How?
This is organically farmed Syrah from the Northern Rhône, from younger vines planted between 2010 and 2017.
The wine fermented naturally with whole bunches, semi carbonic, and aged for eight months in vats. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no sulfites used at any stage.
The Winemaker: Maison Stephan
Jean-Michel Stéphan comes from a long family of vegetable and fruit growers in the Northern Rhône. He was one of the first in his area to return to organic farming, and he has been instrumental to the low intervention wine scene in France, producing his first natural wine already in 1997.
These days, he is joined by his son Romain, and the domaine is going from strength to strength, creating captivating wines from Syrah, Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier.
